Free grower/retailer carbon accounting toolkit - perfect for growers, box schemes, CSA's and food hubs. This allows you to allocate "co-products" for different elements of your enterprise.
Iain Tolhurst said of the toolkit "After trying the carbon toolkit for box schemes I think it is very good and extremely comprehensive. The problem is that the subject is complex and it is possible to carry on adding more and more in the light of new knowledge. So you need to be careful of not making it too unwieldy. I would say that for the time being it is about right, an impressive piece of work."
Gardener
Free gardener's carbon accounting toolkit- perfect for the veggie patch gardener and allotment holder
Community / multiple
Free community food growing (multiple gardeners) carbon accounting toolkit - perfect for community projects or allotment association's wanting to measure their climate impact

Other tools

Works in progress
All toolkits are "works in progress" this is because the state of knowledge on carbon footprinting of food is evolving practically daily. DEFRA is currently funding a £12.6m project to get better baseline figures particularly for methane and nitrous oxide. CFF will amend toolkits annually to take into account new baseline figures.
Feedback is important to CFF
Whilst our toolkits are free of charge, please take five minutes to fill in our evaluation forms. This allows us to monitor and evaluate the working of the toolkits and also offer evidence to funders and sponsors that Climate Friendly Food's carbon accounting toolkits are the best available.
