Climate Friendly Food is a not-for-profit social enterprise. We rely on certification income, grants and donations to support running costs and development work.

Some of the work we plan to do in 2010 include:

  • Version 3 of the carbon calculator, which will be improved and will include non-organic farming and growing

  • Consumer carbon calculator so individuals can work out their personal food carbon footprint easily and accurately

  • A demonstration farm near St Helens, Merseyside, showcasing all the best low carbon farming techniques and providing organic food for people in nearby deprived communities.

  • Awareness raising programmes for producers and consumers

Anyone can become a member for just £15 per year. For this you get:

  • Quarterly newsletters
  • A full Annual Report
