Farming Futures
Farming Futures is an organisation to help farmers prepare for the impacts of climate change, and realise potential opportunities to reduce costs through energy savings and/or renewable generation.
A particularly good part of the site is the case studies and factsheets, linked in to an interactive Google map. Case studies include a Carbon Neutral Farm, novel crops, water management and soil management. Videos include several renewable enrgy technologies, soil sampling and peak oil.
The blogs are also lively, with discussions on a range of subjects from Peat use to Phosphorous supplies.
A wide range of events are listed around the UK that are of interest to farmers and growers.
