The organisation is “run for the benefit of the public, farming and growing community” and has a legal structure to enable it to call itself a “not-for-profit social enterprise”.
Four directors are legally responsible for running the organisation and ensuring its charitable aims are met. The directors combine knowledge and experience from different areas of expertise, from marketing and communication to farming and community projects.
This range of skills ensures the organisation has a broad outlook, yet is run efficiently and with responsibility. We submit accounts to Companies House once a year who ensures this organisation is run in accordance with its own terms of governance.
